• Time - Messages are filtered at the server level, meaning you don't download the junk messages when you check for new mail. Your inbox will be clean, allowing you or your employees to deal with legitimate emails, without wasting time (and money!) dealing with junk.
• Security - Much of the spam propogating the Internet presents a considerable security risk to your users, their computers, and your company as a whole. Current practices include data-mining (by both automatic means and by asking end-users direct questions), together with Worm, Trojan, and Virus infections. Spam filtered at the server level will protect your network infrastructure before it gets as far as your users.
• System Resources - Scanning for spam is an intensive process for computers. Combine the overhead system costs together with the bandwidth/dial-up costs of downloading useless messages, time involved configuring and maintaining a client-side application, and the support and training involved with getting your user-base up to speed with the new system, and you'll quickly find the costs outweigh an outsourced server-side system.
• Flexibility - Our server-side system takes advantage of the most up-to-date spam information available in the world, by querying a number of third party RBLs, Spam databases, blacklisted user lists, and DNS validation checks. This procedure is run for every message that passes through our system, and is all done in real time. Combining this evolving technology with a private email validation database of 25,000 messages and growing, and user/domain definable Blacklists and Whitelists of email addresses, our Anti-Spam system provides you with a level of protection which is more effective than any client-side based solution on the market.

The ITC Internet Anti-Spam system has been designed to cater for all email users, including those who don't have email accounts provided with an ITC Internet Hosting Plan.

• Existing ITC Internet clients can simply contact us to have the Anti-Spam service enabled on their current account, without needing to change any settings on their system.
• Email accounts not hosted by ITC Internet can also enjoy spam free email. We can configure our mail server to log in and collect your email from your existing account, filter it for Spam and Viruses, and place it into an account on our system awaiting your collection. You simply change your POP3 server settings in your email program, and collect your email directly from us. Virus protection is provided as standard with this service, a real bonus if your existing provider doesn't currently check your messages for you.
• Finally if you are in a corporate environment with between 50 and 50,000 users and have your own Mail Server, we can provide you with an MX Feed whereby all of your incoming messages are routed through our mail servers, spam is filtered OR tagged (with optional Virus Scanning as well) at your descretion, before being immediately passed on to your SMTP server for local delivery.
