website hosting plans share a common set
of features, which are explained on another
page. This section covers the 3 primary
website hosting plans we offer, and the
table below outlines the differences between
them. All of the following plans are available
on Windows or Linux servers, and the only
real differences between the two platforms
are reflected in the scripting language
support.

The above hosting plans suit about 95%
of our clients who require website hosting,
however every once in a while someone needs
something special. ITC
also offer a bespoke hosting plan,
where you can pretty much specify exactly
what it is that you want, and based upon
your requirements we'll come up with a price.
Bespoke hosting plans generally cost upwards
of £1000 per year, but to get an exact
price please contact

for.

can also provide your hosting plan with
additional disk space, POP3 accounts, bandwidth
allowance, domain
names, dns entries, aliased/parked
domains, SSL
hosting, giving you the ultimate level

Email Hosting
If you don't currently need a website
(or have one hosted somewhere that can't
deal with your email requirements)
but would still like to take advantage
of our highly powerful email services,
the ITC
Email Hosting plan is just what you
are looking for. It comes with an
unlimited number of POP3 accounts,
aliases, forwarders, and fully integrated
Webmail as standard, ensuring that
whatever your email requirements this
plan will suit you. If you decide
to proceed with a website later, no
changes will be required to your email
systems, as the two will integrate
nicely.
If requested, ITC
will give you access to administer
(add/remove) your domain's POP3 accounts,
giving the site owner or your technical
team full and instant control to the
configuration of your domain. This
option will be automatically enabled
if you request 10 or more POP3 accounts,
from which point you will be required
to handle the configuration.
As with all of our hosting packages,
your email can also support an unlimited
number of aliases in a 'catchall'
account, so that anyemail@yourdomain.com
will find you!
The best thing about this service
is the price. The ITC
Email Hosting plan costs just £50
per year (excluding
domain registration),
which breaks down at less than £1
per week for all of your emailing
requirements!

Domain Parking
/ Forwarding / Aliasing
Despite the length of the title,
this is actually quite simple. Basically
you use one of these plans when you've
got a domain
name that you aren't using, or
you need it to point/redirect somewhere
else.
Parking is used when you've
registered a domain name for security
or later use, but there is no website
in place. ITC
display a standard web page explaining
that the domain has been registered
by one of our customers, but it is
not currently active. Parking comes
as standard with a catchall email
account, which can either be configured
as POP3 for your collection, or with
a forwarder that automatically forwards
email to your current email account.
Forwarding is used when you
have existing services with another
ISP, and you want people who visit
your domain to be redirected
to another web location, for example
free space provided with a dial up
account. Again this comes with catchall
email in the form of POP3/Forwarder.
Aliasing is used to make 2
or more domain names appear in exactly
the same manner to the outside world.
The most common usage of aliasing
is when a company register 2 domains,
company.com
and company.co.uk.
In this instance we use aliasing on
the .co.uk domain to the .com domain,
so that the two domain names are interchangeable.
If a user visits www.company.co.uk,
they will see the website as if they
had visited www.company.com.
The same is true with email; a message
sent to sales@company.co.uk
will arrive automatically in the sales@company.com
email account. This simple process
saves time, increases the likelihood
of a user locating your site, and
it also saves money as you don't need
full hosting plans for each of your
domain names.

Parking and Forwarding are normally implemented
as a temporary solution until your website
goes online, at which point these plans
can easily be upgraded to a full website
hosting plan with no disruption to your
email services. They can also be useful
during the transfer of Internet services
between 2 or more ISPs, as it allows you
to have domains registered through ITC
pointing to other web servers until you
arrange to transfer all of your Internet
operations to us!
There is no limit to the number of domains
that can be parked, forwarded or aliased
to/from another domain. These plans are
all in one group because despite a variety
of uses, they are all performing a similar
service. If you're still confused about
